Kalikalos Family Fortnight 2011

05-Aug-2011
19-Aug-2011
Europe/Athens

The last three years at the Kalikalos Kissos campus, a beautiful energy has grown out of our family experience weeks as we worked, played, sang, swam, danced and laughed together, a bubble of happiness that stayed with each one of us long after the suntan had faded and the bags were unpacked. Texts, emails, calls and visits to one another have continued to nourish the relationships that were formed during our time together and indeed, many of us have booked to return in 2011 as a result!

Our daily routines are essentially co-created with the participants present—we meet after breakfast for a daily meditation and sharing, decide on the activities we can offer or join in, organise what needs to be done to help in the daily life of the centre (eg food preparation), hang out at the wide variety of stunning beaches in the afternoons or hike through the shady mountain forests, take time for ourselves in a way that nourishes our deepest being and then meet again in the evenings to eat and play together.

Kakikalos is a place where the unexpected delights us daily. In a space of open-mindedness, last year we were surprised by the ripe juicy figs that presented themselves on a shady fig grove as we hiked down the mountain for our beach trip, the unravellings of imagination as we painted pictures from our group visual meditation, the mermaids and pine forests and seascapes that colourfully erupted into our dreams. Who ever knows what happens next?

Come to drink in the special surprises that are gathering themselves for your visit, whatever they may be!

Children, parents, whole families, parts of families, family friends and single people are all welcome in this special family community group!

For more details on our Family Experience Weeks workshop in Greece from 5th-19th August 2011 please visit the Kalikalos Holistic Centre website.

Northern Lights 2010 is about current Transformations in Teaching, utilising the experience and best practice of leaders in the fields of education, business & entertainment. As with the last three successful conferences, the event is designed to refresh all those involved in any form of education, including parents, by providing a holistic experience within a nourishing and supportive environment.

This year the conference aims to create a learning
community that goes way beyond schools into the fabric of society itself. It brings together local expertise and resources, as well as inspiring examples of partnerships between rganisations. At the heart of the conference are cutting-edge dynamic collaborative processes which are designed to provide individuals and groups with a renewal of energy for maximising creativity and focusing on a common purpose.

Using voice & music, systemic constellations, drama, mediation, restorative justice,Olivier Mythodrama and the magic of learning with horses, Northern Lights creates a stunning opportunity to connect with your own power as a learner/teacher/parent and return to your working environment re-inspired and reinvigorated.
