The Northern Lights teachers conferences have been designed to refresh teachers at a deep level, by providing a holistic experience within a nourishing and supportive environment.

This year, the conference focuses on Inspiration, looking at the new avenues opened up by the Curriculum for Excellence to nourish the source of inspiration within each of us, and to find how we can radiate that inspiration in our teaching.

As always, there will be a range of exciting international and local speakers, as well as community artists, writers, actors and teachers providing enlivening workshops arising from the 40-years experience of this eco-community, supported by Findhorn College.

A now-indispensable ingredient of the teachers conference is Playback Theatre, who re-enact the stories the audience bring to the conference, bringing in elements of spontaneity, surprise and recognition that our experiences are both unique and shared by us all.

Intellectual stimulation, laughter, time in nature, opportunities to engage with other teachers from a wide range of backgrounds, book stalls and exhibitions, evenings spent in celebration - all these are among the rich ingredients that are part of the Northern Lights event. Come to be re-vitalised, renewed and re-inspired!
